How does the app find my location?
GPS Kit app uses Apple’s CoreLocation and MapKit frameworks, along with the sensors in your device to pinpoint your location.
What kind of location data can I get?
Latitude, longitude, altitude, address, a satellite image, and details like region, county, and more location details (if available).
Can I edit the data?
Absolutely! If the address seems a bit off or incomplete, you can tweak it to perfection and add personal notes to your saved places.
How does GPS Kit ensure my privacy?
We do not track you, we don’t have access to your data, or spy on you. Your location and trip data stay on your device or in your personal iCloud account, protected by Apple’s privacy and encryption standards.
What is the business model?
GPS Kit offers a subscription with a free trial so you can try all features before committing. Subscribing unlocks unlimited saved locations, unlimited albums, personalized travel logs, Apple Family Sharing, and a completely ad-free experience. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
Can I pick the GPS data format?
You bet! Choose from decimal degrees, DMS (degrees, minutes, seconds), or plain format. You can also choose between meters and feet for altitude units.
Is there a limit to the number of locations I can save?
